Programme overview
Mindful hike, 1 hour: Focus on being mindful in nature to promote problem solving and creative thinking. Kylie will give your team all the tools they need to engage all their senses, and tap into the unconscious wilderness of our brain. This is a powerful way to destress, reconnect and promote divergent thinking.
Ancient forest highlights tour, 30 minutes: As we make our way into the bush boardroom, hear from Sanctuary Mountain staff about the birds and the bees, the flowers and the trees and what makes the conservation project at Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari truly special.
Morning or afternoon tea: Light refreshments and hot drinks served on the mountain in the Southern enclosure, with the birds for company.
Exclusive use of the Bush Boardroom, 2 hours: Exclusive use of our immersive bush boardroom at for your team's strategy or board meeting, creative session, or facilitated session - the possibilities are endless! Enjoy the sounds of the forest, soak in the ambience and bird sound for a work 'meeting' like you've never experienced before.
Programme runs from 8.30am or 9am.

Provided for the Bush Boardroom session: Sparkling and still water, an easel, butcher's paper roll with markers, outdoor cushions and blankets for the cosy factor!
* Our Bush Boardroom is design to be an un-plugged digital-free experience which your team will innately benefit from (no powerpoints, no Wifi!); challenge yourselves to go minimalist for the day; You are welcome to bring laptops if needed, however long their battery-life with last in the in bush!Mindful hiking quick tools pdf emailed to your team after the day
Our packages include on average a 15% - 20% conservation contribution to Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari from your company

OPTION: Add Lunch
Talk to us about options for including a lunch at the bush boardroom. We can offer a fully-catered buffet style lunch or a more simple light lunch.

- Do you have your own external facilitator? Why not suggest a session with them at our bush boardroom following a 'walking primer' - a little more exciting than a four-walled room and whiteboard!
- Team building with a twist! Build in a fun activity in the middle of a kayak tour in the Pokaiwhenua canyon!
- Get hands on: Is your team feeling fit and strong? Get hands on with giving back to conservation by lending a hand to the rangers by clearing monitoring tracks.
